What is Methscopolamine Nitrate?
Methscopolamine nitrate is an antimuscarinic agent that acts by blocking the action of acetylcholine at parasympathetic sites in smooth muscle, secretory glands, and the central nervous system. It is primarily used to reduce salivation and respiratory tract secretions during surgery, and to treat peptic ulcers by inhibiting gastric acid secretion and reducing gastrointestinal spasm.Side Effects

Warnings
- Do not use if you have glaucoma, severe ulcerative colitis, myasthenia gravis, or enlarged prostate
- May impair your ability to drive or operate machinery due to dizziness or blurred vision

- Avoid overheating as this medication may cause decreased sweating
- May increase sensitivity to sunlight, use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors
