¿Qué es Midodrine Hcl?
El clorhidrato de midodrina es un agonista alfa-adrenérgico utilizado para el tratamiento de la hipotensión ortostática sintomática. Funciona contrayendo los vasos sanguíneos y elevando la presión arterial, lo que ayuda a mantener la presión arterial en posición vertical y alivia síntomas como mareos y sensación de ligereza al pasar de una posición sentada o acostada a estar de pie. - Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Changes in vision
- Chest pain
Warnings
- If you have been taught to check your blood pressure yourself, check it on a regular schedule. Your blood pressure should stay within a certain range. Your doctor will tell you what that range should be. If your blood pressure is out of that range, call your doctor.
- This medicine will raise your blood pressure. Your blood pressure may get too high, especially when you lie down. Your doctor may want you to sleep with the head of your bed raised to help prevent this.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, glaucoma, or trouble urinating.
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
- Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments. You will need to have your blood pressure checked regularly.
