¿Qué es Xofluza?
Xofluza (baloxavir marboxil) es un medicamento antiviral utilizado en el tratamiento de la gripe aguda no complicada en pacientes de 12 años y mayores que han mostrado síntomas por no más de 48 horas. Como inhibidor selectivo de la enzima endonucleasa dependiente de cap, funciona interrumpiendo la replicación viral, reduciendo así la duración de los síntomas de la gripe. Normalmente se administra como una única dosis oral y es efectivo contra los virus de la influenza A y B.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing

Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have any type of infection.
- This medicine is not a substitute for a yearly flu shot. It also will not treat or prevent a bacterial infection.
- Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse.
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
